Mission
To function as a laboratory for experimentation and innovations in the field of teacher education through a variety of teacher education programs with pedagogic specialization.
To impart high quality education and training to pupil-teachers in accordance with the emerging trends in Teacher Education.
To support and encourage innovations, development and discovery through research oriented activities in the field of teacher education.
To arrange seminars, workshops, symposium, lecture series, for pre-service and in-service teachers in respect of their professional development in the areas of teaching-learning, evaluation, administration, research etc.
To implement self-directed tasks including case studies, project works, seminars, term papers assignment, collaborative projects and multi level engagement with the field to make student-teachers a competent professional in modern teaching practice.
To inculcate the values of humanity, democracy, professionalism, creativity etc. among student-teachers in order to produce a value-driven work-force and citizen.
To implement multifaceted co-curricular activities and community involvement programmes for inculcating aesthetic, social, cultural, humanitarian values among student-teachers for creating forces of transformation in their schools in near future.
To collaborate with organizations of Education for the development of the college.
Objectives

To improve the professional capabilities of student-teachers through internship, engagement with school based activities, training and student development programmes, career advancement programmes and similar other things.
To maintain peace and safe environment for every individual and deal with diverse qualities and needs of student-teachers.
To develop and maintain physical infrastructure with special reference to laboratories and library.
To organize seminars, workshops, professional and faculty development programmes, hands-on training and similar other academic activities at regular basis.
